Message from Dean Faculty of Engineering
Dear Students
It is my pleasure to introduce you to the Faculty of Engineering, University of Azad Jammu & Kashmir-Muzaffarabad. I am privileged by the greater responsibility bestowed upon me to take the Faculty of Engineering (FoE) to greater heights in academics and research.
FoE is one of the prestigious and leading faculty in the University which presently consists of the following departments:-
a. Department of Electrical Engineering
b. Department of Software Engineering
Both the Undergraduate Programs i.e. Electrical Engineering and Software Engineering are duly accredited by the Pakistan Engineering Council and are in-line with Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. In addition, Postgraduate Program including MS Electrical Engineering is also offered.
We are the home of endowed and passionate faculty and staff members, fanatical to the success of our students.
The world is quickly evolving and we are connected and interconnected ever before. New technologies are budding to solve problems associated with everyday life on global scene. Engineering solutions leads to economic growth and societal welfare, transforming business and society. Our goal is to prepare students to
contribute to this transforming ecosystem. Our programs provide students with the required technical skills, along with other necessary skills to succeed: effective communication, team collaboration, leadership, professionalism, work ethic and equity principles. The students’ success is our success!
Our students have unique opportunities to learn and be mentored by distinguished faculty members in the state of the art laboratories and facilities.
